About me
Enjoy the best experience and skill combined
With over 30 years in Air Force special operations and extensive experience as a police firearms instructor, I know firsthand what it takes to keep weapons running in the harshest environments. In 2002, while deployed in Afghanistan, I created the first generation of Charlie Bravo’s Rude Oil.
After years of refining the formula using high-grade synthetic oils from automotive to aerospace industries, I developed a battle-tested, all-climate lubricant that won’t freeze, won’t evaporate, and won’t let moisture compromise your weapon.
Whether you’re on duty, in the field, or maintaining your everyday carry, Rude Oil keeps your firearms running cleaner, longer, and smoother—no matter the conditions.
What’s great about Rude Oil
Safe
It is safe for all firearms finishes and safe to use on wood.
No freeze
It will not freeze under normal atmospheric conditions tested to -20f.
No H2O affinity
It repels moisture, preventing it from penetrating metal surfaces.
multipurpose
Designed for firearms, aerospace, machinery, and household use,.

Safe
This has been tested with the standard impingement and gas AR series rifles using no more than 6-8 drops of oil to get a gun to run 1000+ rounds without stoppage due to fowling or carbon drag. It has also been tested with an M240 using 5ml of fluid to fire over 3500 rounds without stoppage.
For uniform carry and conceal carry this oil doesn’t attract lint and debris as much as normal over the counter lubricants. The big reason I needed it in the desert.
apply sparingly
When applying be very sparing. It doesn’t take much. One 30ml bottle should last a police officer lubricating an all metal duty pistol for at least 2 years.
lasts a long time
This has been tested with the standard impingement and gas AR series rifles using no more than 6-8 drops of oil to get a gun to run 1000+ rounds without stoppage due to fowling or carbon drag. It has also been tested with an M240 using 5ml of fluid to fire over 3500 rounds without stoppage.
No freeze
If your gear sits outside in the cold for hours or days, this oil won’t stiffen, attract ice, or fail in frigid conditions, making it a must-have for winter operations and extreme environments.
Low-Viscosity Formula
This oil is made with a low-viscosity synthetic blend that remains consistent across temperature fluctuations. It doesn’t break down, congeal, or slow moving parts, keeping your firearm running smoothly in freezing conditions.
No water retention
Many lubricants absorb microscopic moisture from the air, leading to ice buildup inside moving parts. This oil is 100% hydrophobic, meaning it repels water entirely. No trapped moisture = no internal freezing, keeping critical components free-moving and reliable.

No H2O affinity
With no H₂O affinity, it actively repels water, stopping atmospheric moisture from seeping in and preventing rust before it starts.
Once applied, it forms a durable, non-greasy barrier that won’t wash away, even in high humidity, rain, or field conditions, keeping your firearm or gear dry and protected.
perfect for daily use
Perfect for long-term storage, harsh environments, and everyday carry, it won’t attract dust, lint, or grime.
durable
Whether you’re running hard in the rain or leaving gear exposed to the elements, this oil keeps your metal clean, corrosion-free, and mission-ready.
Multipurpose
IIt will work as any form of household lubricant. This oil doesn’t stain but it will soak into soft woods. Currently we have been testing it in the aerospace industry to lubricate pulleys, hinges and cables on aircraft.
for household tasks
Rude oil has been used and works well as a cutting oil and thread tapping oil in the workshop and also is an excellent penetrating oil to let soak on rusted nuts and bolts.
versatile
The versatility is endless. If it needs lubed, give this stuff a try.

Price is $5 per bottle on orders under 500 bottles.

How it all started
I developed the first gen rude oil in Afghanistan out of desperation in 2002. The military issued oils weren’t cutting it and my weapons required constant cleaning and lubricants. I used conventional oils available at the fires base and concocted something to get me by. It worked great at the time but I was after lube that would work in the desert environment and I wasn’t too concerned at the time with freezing.
When I returned home I switched to all synthetic based lubricants that run the spectrum of automotive to aeronautical industries. What I developed is a blended synthetic oil that will not separate even after years of sitting dormant.
